What Roskamala Believes

I believe all of us are doing the best we can

with our limitations, awareness,

knowing and capacity.

What we see in others also lives in us.

What we admire reflects what’s already within.

What we reject often points

to what we’ve hidden.

To love is to preserve.

To love is to accept all parts of ourselves, fully.

And from that place, love spreads

naturally from the inside out.

That’s how the sun accepts it is a sun,

burns and shines.

How the rain accepts it is rain,

falls and restores.

How the river, the trees and all beings

exist as they are.

This is harmony.

A beautiful ecosystem.

Real love isn’t about giving everything

or losing ourselves.

Love with boundaries,

compassion with integrity,

and kindness with self-respect,

all are still love.

They are love in a form that sustains.

We can love ourselves.

We can love the world and those within it.

We don’t have to pick one or the other.

With love,

Roskamala
